Activities at Hazel Lodge Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Chinese New Year 2023

To celebrate Chinese New Year, residents made brightly coloured Chinese lanterns to decorate the home and left tangerines and oranges around as a symbol of good luck and fortune .

Cuddly Companions

Throughout the years many of us have pets to keep us company and this can be something that we miss as we get older. Our life like robotic kitten just loves to be stroked and brushed and will even purr and meow for attention.

Valentines Competition Feb 2023

Congratulations to Stacy Peacock & Marley the Springer Spaniel for winning our Puppy Love Valentines Day competition. We asked people to send in a picture of their 4 legged friend and tell us why they were so special, we had some super cute entries but Marley won by a waggy tail. Stacy popped in and collected her prize from Caroline our General Manager and will be coming back for an Afternoon tea with her mum later this month.
