Activities at Glebefields Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Ashitha Dinesh
Hi, I'm Ashitha, and I'm proud to be part of the team at Glebefields Care Home as an Activities Assistant. I joined the Glebefields family in 2023, having earned my master’s degree in electrical engineering from Coventry University. Despite my engineering background, I bring a fresh perspective to enriching the lives of our residents. I enjoy creating an environment where they can have fun, connect with others, and stay mind active. Together with my co-workers, I'm dedicated to making every moment special for our residents, bringing happiness and meaning to their lives. It's an honour to be part of such a compassionate and dedicated team at Glebefields Care Home.

Evangelical Church Inspires
Inspirational Visit from Pastor David Cooke and Friends
Glebefields Care Home had the pleasure of hosting Pastor David Cooke and his friends from Banbury Evangelical Church for a meaningful and uplifting gathering. Residents and staff had a lovely conversation filled with words of wisdom, accompanied by the beautiful melodies of hymns.
The presence of Pastor David Cooke and his friends brought a sense of warmth and spiritual connection to our community. Their words of encouragement and shared experiences resonated deeply, offering solace and inspiration to all in attendance.
Together, we joined in singing hymns that touched our hearts and uplifted our spirits. It was a time of reflection, gratitude, and the sharing of faith.

June Birthday Girls
In the month of June, we had the joy of celebrating not just one, but two special birthdays at Glebefields Care Home. On June 8th, we gathered to honor Sheila's birthday, followed by a delightful celebration on June 12th for Ivy's special day.
Surrounded by their loved ones, fellow residents, and dedicated staff, Sheila and Ivy blew out the candles on their beautifully decorated birthday cakes. As a surprise, we presented Sheila and Ivy with special gifts to make their birthdays even more memorable.
Here's to Sheila, Ivy, and all our June birthdays! May the year ahead be filled with happiness, good health, and countless cherished memories.
