Activities at Four Hills Care Home

Our activity and lifestyle programme is arranged for all our residents to participate in and is updated regularly based on ideas from our residents group during our resident forum. Our Resident of the Day strategy ensures each person receives at least one day each month where the focus is all about them.

We have a monthly concert and to date this is appreciated and enjoyed by most residents. The Four Hills Taverns is open for business every Friday afternoon and is an area where residents and staff socialise, hold pub quizzes and partake in a little refreshment.

The team at Four Hills try hard to meet everyone's needs and encourage all residents and their families to join in the fun.

Visit from our little friends!

It’s was a great morning welcoming the nursery children from Benview Early Years Centre to Four Hills!

The company of the children never fails to put a smile on our residents faces. We had a great time chatting and doing some arts & crafts.

We look forward to seeing you all again next week.

Tea and Scones

At Four Hills we are passionate about ensuring our residents receive the best delicious and highly nutritious foods to support their health and well-being.. with a little sweet treat now and then! And let’s be honest, we all know that good food makes people happy!

Yesterday, Paul made some delicious homemade scones with creams and jam which were thoroughly enjoyed in the home. This is just a snippet of all the wonderful foods prepared in the home for residents and staff to enjoy.

Paul, we are very lucky to have you here at Four Hills!

Pamper Afternoon for the ladies at Four Hills!

The ladies of Four Hills received some much-deserved pampering this afternoon.

They relaxed with a manicure and a facial alongside a glass of bubbly in hand, or some with a nice cup of tea and scones.

Our residents really enjoy these pamper sessions and the benefits are not just physical, it increases their self-esteem, self-confidence and it gives them something new to talk about!

Halloween Party

Residents, Staff and Relatives all enjoyed a fun filled day with entertainment from Elaine whilst drinking refreshments and eating spooky snacks.

Three residents won best dressed prizes and are proudly displaying their winners rosettes!

Halloween preparations in full swing

Our residents at Four Hills had a lovely afternoon carving pumpkins ready for Halloween.

They enjoyed reminiscing about Halloween when they were younger and had a good laugh about some of the things they dressed up as.

Live Music at Four Hills

We had a fun filled afternoon with a visit from Joe on the accordion.

He played some famous Scottish music where everyone sang along to and had a great time!
