Activities at Claremont Parkway Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Hello, my name is Karen and I'm the activities coordinator for Claremont Parkway. Living life to the full is my motto, and I wish to instill this in all our residents, whatever your ability there is something new to learn or try. Life is for enriching and enjoyment.

Life at Claremont Parkway Care Home
Teddy Bears Picnic
We were visited today by the children from Busy Bees (Kettering) for a teddy bears picnic. The children went on a bear hunt, decorated teddy biscuits, made name tags for the teddy bears and listened to a bear story whilst having their picnic. The residents loved seeing the children playing and doing the activities.
Happy Day at the Zoo
Last Friday residents got to visit the amazing Hamerton Zoo. Needless to say they were completely taken back by all the amazing exotic animals they had and it put a smile to all our faces. We will be back soon.
Women's World Cup Final
Come on you Lionesses! Our residents are supporting you every second of the way, you've already exceeded expectations, go the extra mile and do us proud today. Whatever the outcome the Claremont Parkway family think you're great!
Jointing Together for Jigsaws
On Wednesday morning, residents enjoyed a relaxing session doing jigsaws. Joining together as a team to help one another. Claremont Parkway care home provides a varied life enrichment programme tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
Toe-tapping with Steve Jay

Sparkling Duo Entertains
This past Friday we were joined by the mother & daughter duo; Lesley Ann & Katie Rose. They sang some lovely song's for our residents, They certainly loved joining in with the songs they knew and enjoyed learning some new songs too.

Weekly Parent and Baby Play Group
All local parents and their little ones are invited to join us for a morning of fun with our residents Every Wednesday of every month from 10am - 11.30am.
Community Fish and Chip Club
Don't dine alone we're welcoming older people to join our residents on any Friday of each month from 12.30pm for some friendly conversation and a delicious meal.
Fabulous 50's Summer Fete
Shake, Rattle & Roll to Claremont Parkway for a 1950s celebration at our summer fete on 16th August 11am-4pm. Buffet, Games and Live Music!
