Activities at Brampton View Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.
Emma Robinson
My name is Emma. I am the Activities Lead here at Brampton View. I joined the home in 2023 and I bring lots of new and exciting ideas to the role.
Having worked in the role before I am passionate about bringing a smile to all our residents faces and ensuring they make the most of their time here with us.
If you would like to come and chat with me about your family member then please contact the home to arrange this.
We are always open to new ideas. If you would like to get involved in any of our Life Enrichment activities or have a skill, or project you'd like to share with our residents, please click here to contact me direct. New entertainers and community links are always welcome.

Life at Brampton View Care Home
Baking at Brampton
Winn, Margaret and Neville enjoyed making shortbread for everyone to share at afternoon tea time in the garden. Baking is a favourite activity and leads to lots of discussion about people's favourite foods and memories of baking with their families.
Making pictures and cards
Pat and friends have been enjoying craft sessions with Di, Activities Coordinator, making pictures and greetings cards of 3-d hot air balloons to send to family and friends.
Happy Friendship Day
Residents at Brampton View were delighted to receive a box of doughnuts from friends at our sister home, Collingtree Park to celebrate International Day of Friendship. Madeline, Jeanette and other residents enjoyed the treats in the sunshine. Thank you Collingtree Park!
Another lovely lunch menu at Brampton View
Head Chef Ian and the kitchen team have created another lovely lunch menu for Brampton View residents to choose from, including a choice of three mouth-watering desserts.
A welcome visit for Nora
Nora was delighted to have a visit from her family - their first chance to catch up for three months. We used some old-fashioned technology to make sure Nora could hear every single word from a safe distance. Welcome back - please visit again soon!
Family visits at last!
We are over the moon this week to be able to welcome families for their first visits at Brampton View since March. David was first, welcoming his sons Richard and Roger who sat at a safe distance in the garden while David stayed out of the wind, just inside his patio door. It was extra special as it was also David's birthday. We have now held a few fantastic family reunions, enabling residents and visitors to see that their loved ones are well and happy. We have been waiting for this day for so long and have a diary full of visits booked by other families over the next two weeks. Welcome back!
