Activities at Silverbirch House Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Bo Tse
With previous experience working in a care home as an activities coordinator, I have developed a strong passion for enhancing the daily lives of residents through engaging and meaningful activities.
I am thrilled to join Barchester because of its outstanding reputation for providing exceptional care and a warm, community-focused environment. In my role, I will be dedicated to creating enriching programs that promote social interaction and well-being, helping both residents and their families feel supported and connected.
Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Keeping Connected
We understand the importance of keeping families and friends together and in touch. In fact with loved ones in easier reach than ever before we make sure everyone stays connected. Whether that's phone, facetime or a little letter in the post we will make it happen. Our door is always open for a visit and a friendly face too.

Cheese and Wine Soiree
Louise the homes Manager recently held a fabulous cheese and wine evening. It was a great opportunity to chat with residents and the local community about current affairs the care we provide and the differnence we make everyday to those we support. Give us a call to find out when our next one is. We would love to see you.
