Worplesdon View Care Home in Guildford
Worplesdon View is a purpose-built 78-bed home offering nursing and residential care, as well as personalised dementia care. Our highly qualified and dedicated team work hard to ensure the highest quality of care, based on the latest research and tailored to each individual’s needs.
Dementia Care
We provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Communities where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centred approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.
The whole home has been designed with older people in mind, from the sofas and chairs in the living rooms, spacious and en-suite bedrooms, to the well-tended and secure gardens. Residents all have access to a sociable coffee area, hair salon and a beautifully-maintained garden. Throughout the home there is a range of communal and dining facilities to suit people who enjoy socialising, as well as those who prefer quieter activities.
We welcome visitors at any time, so please feel free to drop in to experience Worplesdon View and see the difference we make to residents’ lives for yourself.

Our 'Paying to live in a care home' guide is designed to try and help you understand more about the funding options available and what to consider when choosing a care home.

Graham Allen
Hi, my name is Graham Allen and I am the Senior General Manager here at the Worplesdon View.
I have a wealth of commercial and operational experience gained across a wide variety of healthcare facilities, both in the UK and in my native South Africa. Most of my roles have had a strong operational and strategic focus, primarily in the private healthcare sector which Barchester is a leading provider in.
As an experienced General Manager, I am extremely passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care to residents and ensuring the highest standards of support from across the whole home. Residents have the opportunity to live their lives to the fullest. I thoroughly enjoy working with residents, their loved ones and the staff team here at Worplesdon View.
We are proud to have consistently achieved good reports and reviews from those who know us. This is a very happy home and you are very welcome to visit us.
