Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Hello, I am Joanne. I have worked as an activities coordinator for over seven years. In that time I have built a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience in designing and implementing activities that will support the mind, body and soul. I have a passion for delivering person centred sessions and will strive to ensure our weekly programme is engaging for all. I love organising events and am continually looking for ways to connect with our local community.

Blue Sapphire Wedding Anniversary celebrations
Yesterday we had a very special celebration in our home, as Trevor & his wife Janice celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary
We celebrated in style with Blue Sapphire themed balloons, bunting and lots of flowers...
Trevor, Janice and their guests enjoyed a delicious three course lunch in our stunning top floor dining room & afterwards shared memories of their wedding day in Cornwall.
We were delighted that we could be a part of their special day.... congratulations to you both on such a wonderful milestone

We’ve been out in our lovely garden this morning, it’s so nice to see the sunshine again after all the rain we’ve had lately!

We boarded the Alison MacGregor operated by Solent Dolphin charity for a fantastic two hour cruise from Hythe Marina out onto Southampton water
The sun made an appearance and we were lucky enough to spot four Black Swans...
Our thanks to the volunteer crew of The Alison MacGregor... we are already looking forward to our next trip

Tropical Day
We enjoyed games, music & a spot of dancing at our Tropical Party along with a delicious three course tropical lunch. The lounge was transformed into a tropical paradise island for the occasion which had us all reminiscing about our favourite beach holidays.
