So pleased to attend the Wild West themed event it was so good to see the interaction with the residents and even seeing some of them able to get up and dance. Well done to Marc and his team .

The residents from [Care Home Name] have visited our school several times now, and it’s always such a highlight for the children. The way the residents interact with the pupils is so natural and full of joy — you can see how much both generations get from the experience. The staff are kind and supportive, making the visits really special. It’s lovely to see the connections forming, and we’re always so happy to welcome them back.

The staff are amazing , so kind and caring and generally seem to love their job.
They all go out of their way to make sure both resident and family are happy,
The food is delicious and served in a light and airy dining room and the portions size just right.
The rooms are all beautiful and most lead out onto the beautiful garden and all accessible with wet rooms.
The building is kept very clean and tidy.
Very happy at the care my father has received here for his respite care

Megan and the team at Shawford Springs are wonderfully receptive and accommodating and work closely with the local community. The home is warm, welcoming and friendly whenever we go. Thank you for supporting other local events too, your kindness goes a long way.

I'm a regular visitor to Shawford Springs Care Home and wanted to pass on my thanks and appreciation for what they do. It's a lovely bright and airy building to visit with a well cared-for garden and the staff are welcoming and accommodating and over time have become friends. Well done to Cassie, Anna, Megane and the team of lovely ladies on reception for alway making us feel so welcome and to the chef for the most wonderful cake!!!

The staff are not only professional but also incredibly compassionate, always going above and beyond to ensure the residents feel valued and cared for. The environment is warm, welcoming, and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to live. The range of activities planned keeps everyone engaged and provides a truly enriching experience.

"Mum arrived as a new resident at Shawford Springs after Easter. Everyone has gone out of their way to help her settle in. Carers, housekeeping, catering staff, admin, maintenance staff and the management team have all gone out of their way to make her transition positive and friendly. I am a regular visitor, and whatever 'daft' questions or suggestions I have are always met with a smile, positivity, and good advice. The environment is lovely. So much space and light and so many activities and special events. Shawford Springs may not be Mum's old home, but it works very well as her new home. Thank you."

"The staff at Shawford Springs have been so caring and kind to my father during his 3 week respite stay after a hip replacement. They are not only kind and caring to Dad they also welcome us as family and friends every time we visit. Their communication over Dads care has been top class and access to their local doctor been appreciated and very efficient. The food is delicious and served in a light and airy dining room where relatives can join for lunch or dinner. The building is very clean and well maintained. The gardens are beautiful and such a relaxing place to sit and relax together. I cannot recommend this care home enough"

"Staff have been excellent with all the residents. They do so much for the residents to make them feel comfortable and valued. The building is new, and the amenities within the care home are great. The residents all seem to love the food, and all complain they eat far too much... Always a sign of good quality."

"From my first point of contact, I knew this was where Mum should be and I was right. Every member of admin staff - reception, office and management are friendly and willing to help with questions families understandably have. The laundry ladies, cleaners and care staff are kindness itself, friendly and caring and somehow always incredibly cheerful with nothing too much trouble. As for the building - it’s like an upmarket hotel with wonderful food to match. There’s also a beautiful garden where thought has been given to its design. It’s a garden to be used and enjoyed and for residents to be in, not a garden just to be looked at."

"Mum has just come to live in this wonderful environment and I sleep easier knowing she has great care 24/7. The staff have supported us as a family adjust to our new way of life and I can't thank them enough for their kindness. The home itself is beautiful, clean and functional.
