Hi, My name is Molly and I have worked within care for around 8 years. I am very passionate about enabling our residents to live a happy and fulfilled life, whilst ensuring person centred care.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and travelling to new places

Hello, I’m Marc, the Home Services Advisor at Shawford Springs Care Home. Since 2015, I’ve been passionate about guiding families through the care journey, ensuring a supportive, stress-free experience tailored to their needs. I cherish connecting with residents, listening to their stories, and fostering joyful memories in our vibrant, person-centred community.

Outside of work, I’m a devoted dad to my young son and an avid sports enthusiast, cheering for rugby, cricket, and Formula 1. 

My goal is to make every transition to Shawford Springs seamless and welcoming, creating a true home for our residents and their families.

My name is John and I'm the Head Chef at Shawford Springs. Prior to starting my role here I worked in a variety of Catering and Hospitality roles including  Catering manager for St Johns Winchester and Brandon Care. 
I'm very much looking forward to organising a variety of delicious new  menu choices. I am also looking forward to helping to plan and organise our popular Armchair Travel days when we take a culinary trip around the globe
In my spare time I enjoy time in the garden tending and growing a variety of different plants

Before joining  Shawford Springs I  worked as a carer in a nursing home and as a housekeeper for serviced apartments

I am kind, caring and patient and love interacting with the residents and hearing their stories

I take great pride in doing a job well and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our home and I love being part of the Shawford Springs team. I look forward to meeting you

Hello, My name is Sylvia and I have over nine years experience in the care sector including five years in community care. 
I'm very much looking forward to making all of our residents experience here at Shawford Springs a happy one 
When I'm not working I enjoy dancing to keep me fit and happy

My name is Emma, I have worked in the care industry for 15 years, 10 years working in Elderly residential/nursing and 5 years working in children’s Residential services 3 of which as a Registered Manager.

I am so pleased to have been welcomed into team here at Shawford Springs as I share the core values. I believe in delivering the highest quality person centred care, ensuring the well being of the residents is at the heart of everything we do. 

In my free time I enjoy going on long country/forest walks with my cockapoo Mallory. At weekends my partner and I also enjoy travelling the country carrying out paranormal investigations, its spooky but so much fun. I love to travel to the Greek Islands on my holidays, Northern Crete is our favourite.

Hello, I am Joanne. I have worked as an activities coordinator for over seven years. In that time I have built a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience in designing and implementing activities that will support the mind, body and soul. I have a passion for delivering person centred sessions and will strive to ensure our weekly programme is engaging for all. I love organising events and am continually looking for ways to connect with our local community.

Hello, My name is Ben and I am the Head of Maintenance here at Shawford Springs. 

I have worked for Barchester since 2012 and have thoroughly enjoyed my years with the company. My background is carpentry however I have really embraced all parts of my maintenance position over the years to enable me to carry out my role well.

Being part of the team here at Shawford Springs is great and I am happy to be supporting our residents and their loved ones daily. 

Hello, Our names are, Sharon, Raafay and Claire and we are the Admin assistants here at Shawford Springs. 

Between the three of us we support Afshan, the home Administrator and we are dedicated to helping our residents, families and team everyday. We thoroughly enjoy being here to welcome people to the home each day and we love to see new faces. If we haven't met you already, we look forward to seeing meeting you soon.

 My Name is Pippa and I have worked at Shawford Springs since it opened in March 2023. I am a senior carer and I am passionate about resident inclusion, enabling our residents to feel independent and purposeful. I enjoy ensuring residents continue with their hobbies and interests and also discover new ones. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with me family and my two French Bull dogs Frank and Vinnie

Hello, My name is Patsy and I am from beautiful South America, Lima Peru, the home of Paddington Bear.
 My husband is English, and we have a son and a Golden Retriever called Sienna, I relocated to the UK from Peru 23 years ago, I now live locally very close to Shawford Springs  
 I am a people person, compassionate and caring having cared for, and nursed my Grandmother in her later years. I wanted to bring happiness to peoples lives and searched for a long time for the best environment to enable me to achieve this, and this is the path that lead me to Shawford Springs. 
In my spare time I love to cook, and dance - Sometimes at the same time! I also enjoy running to music.
