At The Rhallt we provide high quality 24-hour nursing care alongside expert care for people with dementia in our Memory Lane Community. We also provide support for people with MS and Parkinson’s.

Our team of highly-qualified and attentive staff really focuses on the individual needs of the people we support with a personalised care plan in place for each person.

Our dedication can be seen across all of our departments - in our cooking, hospitality and organised activities for our residents.

Our purpose built 82-bedroomed home, which is surrounded by beautiful gardens, is located in a semi rural position on outskirts of Welshpool. Sharon Herbert

General Manager

Hi, my name is Sharon and I am the General Manager here at The Rhallt.

I Joined Barchester Healthcare in January 2015 as a Head of Unit, and became a General Manager in January 2016. I have undertaken my Registered General Nurse training and qualified in 1994. The majority of my nursing career has been spent in the community, supporting individuals with complex care needs and management of a diverse team of care workers and nurses. I am very passionate about care delivery and strive to deliver the highest standard of care to all our residents.

My role here at The Rhallt is to ensure that the residents that we support are treated with individuality, dignity and respect whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable and homely environment. To enable me to do this, I also have to ensure a happy, motivated and highly skilled team who share the same passions as myself.
