Karen James

General Manager

Hi, my name is Karen, and I am the General Manager here at Ashcombe House.

I have been a nurse since 1984, working in the NHS in several settings, including children's ward, medical wards and neuro rehabiliation. I first became a home manager in 2009 and have developed into this role and I really love what I do!

I am looking forward to bringing my enthusiasm for the care and nurturing of both residents and staff to Ashcombe House - aiming to assist the home in becoming the ''go-to home'' for elderly frail people in this area.
