Activities at Queens Court Care Home

Activities are one of the most important aspects of our care home, providing fun and companionship, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained and that life at Queens Court is fun and active. Throughout the home, there is a choice of lounges, which have been designed for people who enjoy socialising and love making new friends. Music therapy, speakers of interest, events, cinema screenings and family events are offered regularly, as well as the Book Club or Poetry Corner, for those who enjoy quieter activities. Our social programme is varied and exciting and is available seven days a week. You can be as busy as you like. Our friends of Queens Court regularly support our special events and activities at the home, which include trips to the seaside and National Trust site

25th Anniversary

We celebrated the 25th anniversary of our General Manager Shaaron Caratella. It was a day of emotions with wonderful guests.

International Nurses Day

Queens Court Residents and Staff celebrated International Nurses Day, full of surprises and delicious snack. A whole day full of conversations, memories and speeches of our residents.

Mother's Day

Our residents and staff enjoyed their time together with great music and delicious food. A tray of lovely treats for visitors was put out on this very special day.

St Patrick's Day

Our residents and staff had a great time celebrating St Patrick's Day, we enjoyed some Irish music and dancing during the day time. Our chef prepared a special Irish lunch for us and a delicious cake which matched perfectly with a Guinness!

Pancake Day

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating pancake day at Queens Court, our chef made a wonderful feast for us. We had lots of toppings to choose from. 

Trip to Dulwich Picture Gallery

Our residents had a lovely time at Dulwich Picture Gallery, where they met with an artist - Charlotte Cranidge and learnt more about some of the unusual painting methods Helen Frankenthaler was known for and were thrilled to explore some of her unexpected tools of choice.

Thursday High Tea!

Residents enjoy a special High Tea every Thursday, superb sweet and savoury delights handmade by our chef. We hope to invite guests in the future - look out for details
