Activities at Queens Court Care Home

Activities are one of the most important aspects of our care home, providing fun and companionship, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained and that life at Queens Court is fun and active. Throughout the home, there is a choice of lounges, which have been designed for people who enjoy socialising and love making new friends. Music therapy, speakers of interest, events, cinema screenings and family events are offered regularly, as well as the Book Club or Poetry Corner, for those who enjoy quieter activities. Our social programme is varied and exciting and is available seven days a week. You can be as busy as you like. Our friends of Queens Court regularly support our special events and activities at the home, which include trips to the seaside and National Trust site

Queens Court Fashion Show

New year is a time to hit the sales and update your wardrobe! Residents at Queens Court put on a  "Milan Style" red carpet fashion show and the best outfits were awarded prizes of sumptuous goodies!

We never need an excuse for a celebration at Queens Court, but when there is one we go all out to make sure our residents forget their age and let their hair down! Happy New Year everyone!

A wonderful Christmas Time!

Christmas Day is always really memorable at Queens Court, but this year following a very difficult one for us all, we pulled out all the stops and made it even more magical and enjoyable!

Residents of Queens Court were treated to an amazing panto by the local theatre group who were kind enough to put on a mini performance in a Covid friendly way! Absolutely fantastic!

Queens Court Bespoke Christmas Cards!

We have some amazingly creative residents at our home. They threw themselves into the task of making our Christmas cards this year and came up with some truly stunning designs!

Home made Mince Pies! Delicious!

There isn't much chef, Ros can't turn his hand to and his mince pies are no exception! Absolutely delicious and so say all of us!
