Activities at Queens Court Care Home
Activities are one of the most important aspects of our care home, providing fun and companionship, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained and that life at Queens Court is fun and active. Throughout the home, there is a choice of lounges, which have been designed for people who enjoy socialising and love making new friends. Music therapy, speakers of interest, events, cinema screenings and family events are offered regularly, as well as the Book Club or Poetry Corner, for those who enjoy quieter activities. Our social programme is varied and exciting and is available seven days a week. You can be as busy as you like. Our friends of Queens Court regularly support our special events and activities at the home, which include trips to the seaside and National Trust site

We are delighted to introduce Emilia as our Activities Lead. Emilia has been part of Queens Court for some time and is excellent in ensuring our residents have a full and interesting life introducing many new hobbies, activities and experiences!

Life at Queens Court Care Home
Valentine's Day
Queens Court wishes everyone a very happy Valentine’s Day! Residents and staff had a lovely time celebrating. Every resident received a red rose in the morning and enjoyed a beautiful performance, with Marilyn Monroe being the lead role, in the afternoon with delicious treats, made by the home's talented chef.
Happy Birthday Dear Diana
We celebrated Diana's 90th birthday in style recently. The home was decorated with flowers and banners and the special occasion was marked with residents and friends.
Chinese New Year
The year of the Tiger! Residents and team members enjoyed an afternoon tea ceremony in honour of the Chinese New Year!
Happy 100th Birthday!
Amazing day at Queens Court .
Gwen and Isabel celebrated their 100th birthday in style with a party arranged by the team at Queens Court House. There was also entertainment, "Isoscels Theatre “ Everyone had a great time.

Burns Night
Burns night was a roaring success with hot toddies, haggis and a whole host of wonderful Scottish "fayre!" Residents and team entered into the spirit and a great time was had by all! "Och aye the noo!"
Aqua Paintings
Every Thursday our residents tell us they thoroughly enjoy their session of Art Therapy. Today we tried our skills at "Aqua" painting. Great fun and very relaxing!
