Activities at Queens Court Care Home
Activities are one of the most important aspects of our care home, providing fun and companionship, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained and that life at Queens Court is fun and active. Throughout the home, there is a choice of lounges, which have been designed for people who enjoy socialising and love making new friends. Music therapy, speakers of interest, events, cinema screenings and family events are offered regularly, as well as the Book Club or Poetry Corner, for those who enjoy quieter activities. Our social programme is varied and exciting and is available seven days a week. You can be as busy as you like. Our friends of Queens Court regularly support our special events and activities at the home, which include trips to the seaside and National Trust site

We are delighted to introduce Emilia as our Activities Lead. Emilia has been part of Queens Court for some time and is excellent in ensuring our residents have a full and interesting life introducing many new hobbies, activities and experiences!

Life at Queens Court Care Home
The Care Home Awards
We recently had the opportunity to attend the Care Home Awards at the Excel Centre, as we had been nominated in 2 categories. Although we didn't win, we had a wonderful afternoon that was filled with fantastic food, lots of wine and great company. Thank you to the CHA – we will see you again next year!
Employee of the Month - May
We have awarded May's Employee of the Month to Louvilla Love Esapol, who is a General Assistant. We as a team feel that Louvilla is very helpful, multi-skilled and always works with a smile on her face. Well done!
International Nurses' Day
We celebrated International Nurse’s Day with a little sunshine and free water bottles from Barchester to keep our staff hydrated at all times.
Chef Academy
This was a very successful experience for our up-and-coming chefs. On this day, the session was all about pastry.

Easter Celebrations
Queens Court kicked off Easter with a flower arranging competition, Easter bonnet show and plenty of chocolate. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Siva, who took the time to arrange all the decorations around the home and ensured Easter was an enjoyable time for everyone we support.
