Activities at Paternoster House Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Hello, my name is Cathy and I'm the activities coordinator for Paternoster House. Living life to the full is my motto, and I wish to instill this in all our residents, whatever your ability there is something new to learn or try. Life is for enriching and enjoyment.

Father's Day Cheese & Ale Party
Join us for cheese and ales on Fathers day. We will have refreshments and nibbles as well as some old fashioned bar games. Sunday 15th 10am - 3pm. All Welcome!

Join us on Saturday 21st June, meet the manager, and our residents to be reassured your loved one will be surrounded by caring people who value them for who they are.
Summer Fete & Sizzling BBQ
Join us for our Summer Fete with sizzling BBQ on Saturday 5th July from 2pm - Everyone is welcome! With live music, games and local craft stalls.
Professional's Networking Breakfast
Are you looking for a relaxed, inviting environment to network with local professionals? Join our General Manager on third Thursday each month for breakfast from 8.00am.
Community Coffee Mornings
Come along and meet new people while enjoying a chat over a hot drink and a selection of sweet treats every Friday from 10am-12 noon.
