Activities at Marriott House and Lodge Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Marriott House and Lodge Care Home
Baking Afternoon
The residents spent the afternoon baking. They made the most stunning cakes with the help of our chef.
International Flower Day
We enjoyed International flower day, the residents did some flower arranging and discussed their favourite flowers together.
Christmas Day 2022
Christmas was such a beautiful day. The residents enjoyed seeing their families and receiving their gifts. They all sat down together for a wonderful Christmas lunch together too.
Our trip to the Festival of Flowers!
Each year the Chichester Cathedral puts on the Festival of Flowers and this year we took our residents, they absolutely loved the day.
We got a GOOD CQC report!
We are so very proud to announce that our most recent CQC inspection resulted in a GOOD! Our team have worked so hard to maintain and achieve this.
Queens Platinum Jubilee
We had a beautiful weekend celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, we had music, food, games and so much fun. It was such an amazing weekend.
