Hello. My name is Sarah, and I am the General Manager here at Marriott House and Lodge. Welcome to our website.
I have worked within the care sector since 1991 and I am very passionate about my role and responsibilities. Right from the beginning, I knew that this was where I belonged.
I joined Barchester in July 2018 as a General Manager and I really enjoyed getting to know the company, my home, my staff team, the residents and their families and friends. I spent just over two years in one home as the General Manager receiving an outstanding kloe in Caring and good in the other four kloes in their CQC inspection before transferring to commission a new build in November 2020.
Whilst within the company I have also supported other homes in the absence of the General Manager and inducted and supported new build General Managers with the commissioning of their homes.
I am excited to be a part of the team at Marriott House and Lodge and I aim to ensure, as a team, that we deliver a high standard of person-centred care to those we support, placing them at the heart of everything we do and meeting individual needs with the passion and commitment they deserve.
