Activities at Hethersett Hall Care Home
Activities, hobbies and interests make up the most important part of our days and who we are as people. We provide a varied activities programme that reflects the interests and capabilities of all the individuals we support. All of the group and individual activities are designed to not only mentally and physically stimulate the people we care for, but to enhance their life skills and feelings of purpose and self-worth. We achieve this through a constantly updated activities programme and one-to-one sessions with residents that are tailored to suit individuals needs. We also offer a range of outings in our mini-bus.

Hi, I’m Caroline Evans and I’ve been at Hethersett Hall for 7 years now and been in the care sector for 13 years and believed it was time for a change in my career at Barchester.
I’m extremely motivated for my new role as activities coordinator. I hope I will bring joy and fun to everyone’s daily lives. I am a highly active and bubbly person. Looking after other people has always been my priority and I will do my best every day to make sure everyone is happy, safe and smiling.
I look forward to meeting you and hope you will all join in the events and activities that I will bring to Hethersett Hall.

Life at Hethersett Hall Care Home
Boom Boom Boom!!
What a fantastic evening we had at Hethersett hall last night with a wonderful firework display “boom boom boom”
We had fish and chips and mushy peas in boxes and newspaper. A resident said “fish and chips always taste better out of the bag”.
Trip to the Garden Centre
We took some of our lovely residents to Taverham garden centre Yesterday and they absolutely loved it. One of or residents has been wanting his own pet Rat for weeks now so we found him a soft fluffy version and he’s called it Remi he’s over the moon.
Military Vehicle Visit and a Jazz Band
Thank you for those who came to our fabulous event on Saturday. We had some amazing military cars which we could all have a look around and we were even aloud to sit in the drivers seat..then we had the delight of a Jazz band which we all enjoyed some cheese and wine and relaxed in the nice weather…cheers!

We took some of our lovely residents to Great Yarmouth today, enjoyed some beautiful sunshine, felt sand run through our fingers, had some fish and chips even went on the 2p machines..before we won’t home we treated ourselves to a magnet to keep. We had a lovely time.
Art Class!!
Here at Hethersett Hall we hold weekly art classes for residents and are always in awe of the talent.
Banham Zoo Trip
The residence at Hethersett Hall really enjoyed a day at Banham Zoo. Lots of smiles and excitement when they saw the animals, especially Jean Boast who really wanted to see the giraffes . Ryan bought her her own soft toy Giraffe as obviously she couldn’t fit a real one on the mini-bus.
Lunch was delicious sandwiches followed by tea and cool drinks.
Before everyone went home, we sampled wonderful ice cream …Last minute browsing in the shop where we bought souvenirs and went back on the mini-bus home.
