Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.
Kerrie Perks
Hello, My name is Kerrie and I provide the unique life enrichment for residents at Elgar Court. I moved to Malvern 12 years ago to live with my fiance and we have two tortoises and a snake. I love to play Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. I am very 'outdoorsy' and used to ride horses and compete nationally in athletics, specialising in track and field for Redditch and Bromsgrove athletics club. In my spare time, I love being in the kitchen and making treats for my family.

We are very lucky to have such a wonderful Primary Care Network team in Malvern.
Today, Linda an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, from the Malvern Primary Care Network team, came to our home to register one of our new residents and meet our caring team.

Welcoming another new resident today.
We know that moving into a new home can be an unsettling experience for residents.
One of our heartfelt gestures that makes our residents feel so warmly welcomed, are our team at Elgar court and, the thoughtful treats waiting for them when they arrive. Whether it’s fresh flowers, a newspaper or for example edible delights, we personalise each welcome gift to our new resident.

Luxury care starts today for our first resident!
Today we welcomed our first resident to Elgar Court.
Our lady will be receiving exceptional care (of course!), wonderful food and enjoy a daily enriching lifestyle. This is luxury residential care at its very best.
Today’s three course menu included Pan Fried Sea Bream with a Lemon Caper butter sauce, steamed carrots and tenderstem broccoli with creamy mash. Mmmnnn…..And let's not forget the cakes baked daily for residents and their families and friends to enjoy in our Café!
It's Official!
Our new luxury care home has opened its doors in style, with a Grand Opening performed by the Mayor of Malvern, Councillor Clive Hooper and Barchester’s CEO, Dr Pete Calveley, in front of many key figures from the local community. Sarah Cadwallader, General Manager was delighted to have the Mayor of Malvern, Councillor Clive Hooper and Barchester’s CEO, Dr Pete Calveley
Councillor Clive Hooper said: “Barchester are investing with such confidence in the future of care in the county – that investment will ensure top quality facilities and world-class care”.
