Hello, my name is Liz and I am the Deputy Manager for Elgar Court. I have been with Barchester for over 10 years and managed a number of homes across the Midlands providing clinical advice and care. I am dedicated to the excellent care and well-being of our residents, and I always strive to ensure we provide the very best enriched environment for our homes. Hello, my name is Kirsty.

Through my husbands work we were relocated to North Carolina in the US. During this time I worked in finance, then on my return to the UK I continued my career with Bupa as a Finance Administrator. I am now fortunate to once again work in care for the Barchester Group as a Home Administrator and I look forward to meeting our new residents.

Hello, My name is Kerrie and I provide the unique life enrichment for residents at Elgar Court.  I moved to Malvern 12 years ago to live with my fiance and we have two tortoises and a snake.  I love to play Dungeons and Dragons with my friends.  I am very 'outdoorsy' and used to ride horses and compete nationally in athletics, specialising in track and field for Redditch and Bromsgrove athletics club.  In my spare time, I love being in the kitchen and making treats for my family.  

Hello, I am Chris and I am looking forward to meeting you all.  I am an award-winning Executive Chef, who has worked internationally in luxury hotels and private dining organisations across the world. I cannot wait to share my wealth of knowledge of local, national and international food with our residents at Elgar Court.

After a 30 year career as a Police Officer I have learned that I was happiest when helping people. Seven years managing holiday camps developed a skillset in maintenance and I’ve always loved a challenge. Head of Maintenance at the brand new Elgar Court means I get to combine all three and I can’t wait to welcome you to our beautiful new home.

Hello, my name is Karon and I am here to welcome you and everyone who visits Elgar Court.  I will ensure your stay goes smoothly and I am available to answer any question you have about your stay.  I recently retired from being a senior paediatric nurse in Birmingham Childrens Hospital, and moved to Malvern this year.  I enjoy going travelling to far off countries  and spending time with my family. I am enjoying getting to know our residents and meeting all our visitors.

Hello my name is Sheralyn but preferred to be called Shez. I have worked in the care industry for 14 years and I am very passionate about my role. I have recently gained the highest level of qualification in care, and I look forward to using my new found knowledge to support and enrich the lives of our residents. I have two young children at home and in my spare time I enjoy family days out and reading.

Hello, My name is Maria and I create and deliver the person centred life enrichment at Elgar Court.  I have a wealth of experience in the care industry from managing homes, working as a senior care to designing theatre costumes for many years.  I bring with me, warmth, understanding, care and activities pizazz for all our residents and staff!  

Hello, my name is Sharifa and I am the Hospitality hostess who will ensure residents and guests receive the best hospitality experience at Elgar Court. I have planned and led banquets and events at hotels and conference venues, and specialise in beautiful dining settings – my artfully designed napkin folding skills and floral displays are renowned!  This expertise has led to a number of accolades from the companies I have worked for, and I will enjoy continuing to share my love for this with our residents.   In my spare time I enjoy producing artworks from painting and drawing, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Hello, I'm Will and I have worked in care for 14 years. It's been exciting watching Elgar Court being built and I'm looking forward to welcoming our residents. Outside of work I enjoy reading and walking. I'm also an avid collector of 18th & 19th century tokens, coins and enjoy going round the local flea fairs.

Hello, my name is Fran. I've worked as a carer for 9 years, and I love what I do. I love getting to know different kinds of people and building relationships with them, especially those with advanced dementia. It brings me great joy to engage and help empower my residents to live the fullest lives possible. I can be quiet, but I can also be very silly! Outside of work, I love to collect vintage clothing, travel abroad, walk our local hills, sing and spend time with my family.

Hello, my name is Becky and I started my journey with Barchester in 2023. I am very honoured to be working at Elgar Court and help open this wonderful new care home.  I have been working in care since 2008 and love working with the elderly and making them feel special in anyway I can.  In my spare time I enjoy travel, music and into Japanese culture.

Hello, I'm Amelia and I am a Carer who has a passion for caring for people and loves all aspects of my job.  I've been caring for people in my work role for over 16 years, and have made many friendships with residents and their families, during that time.  When I'm not working, my other passion, is my 3 year old African Grey parrot. Always causing mischief and up to no good.... he's a proper little character!
