Activities at Cepen Lodge Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Hello. my name is Anita, I have worked at Cepen Lodge for 5 years, I started as a Senior Care Assistant and now I am the Activities Coordinator which I really enjoy, I love the interaction with our residents and making their days enjoyable. I am always thinking of new activities and events, and ways to engage with our local community for our residents benefit. Cepen Lodge is a great team that I am proud to be a part of.

Keeping Fit & Healthy
Here at Cepen Lodge, residents on our Memory Lane Community have been enjoying an exercise session with a twist! Our residents loved exercising with the parachute! We all had great fun and a great work-out!
Halloween Party
Here at Cepen Lodge, our residents celebrated Halloween in style with a fancy dress party and disco. Great fun was had by both residents and staff!
Garden Centre
Off on a little trip to Whitehall Garden Centres this morning to get some more trees for the garden, ready for our visit from the Scouts tomorrow, followed by a pit stop for a drink at the Lavender Lodge we all had a lovely morning!
Scouts Visit
We welcomed 1st Chippenham Cubs to help us planting trees in our garden for Queen's Green Canopy! Residents and the scouts worked hard this evening digging and planting trees and plants in the back garden, before relaxing with a hot chocolate and hot dogs together! Thankyou so much to the Scouts for their help! We are looking forward to seeing you again soon.
Mexican Fiesta
Enchiladas, tacos, wine, cocktails - we all came together for a Mexican evening - lots of fun and sombreros for everyone
