Staff at Castle Rise are celebrating after it performed strongly in Your Care Rating, a nationwide survey of care home residents. The results show it was given an overall performance rating score of 940, out of 1,000. You can read the report here.
Castle Rise is a part of Castle Care Village, a group of friendly, single-storey purpose-built homes set in a quiet environment on the eastern edge of Hull. With safe access to extensive wheelchair-accessible gardens, there is a wide selection of shops within walking distance and good public transport links.
Our home is registered to provide nursing care to people with a range of needs, including younger adults with Acquired Brain Injuries, stroke etc as well as frail older people.
The home has a focus on dignity, independence and choice, as well as emphasizing the importance of hospitality and good food and offering a wide range of activities. Care planning is the basis for care and support, and involves both residents and relatives in decision making. Individuals within Castle Rise receive advice and support from a range of health and social care professionals including dieticians and speech and language therapists.
