Castle Keep Care Home in Hull
Castle Keep is a part of Castle Care Village, a group of friendly, single-storey purpose built care homes set in a quiet environment on the eastern edge of Hull. With safe access to extensive wheelchair-accessible gardens, there is a wide selection of shops within walking distance and good public transport links.
We offer support to 49 people including frail older people with nursing needs, people living with dementia and behaviours that challenge. Our range of person-centred care services also includes end of life care and specialist dementia care, as well as many other services that cater to all sorts of care needs. The home has a focus on dignity, independence and choice, as well as emphasising the importance of hospitality and good food and offering a wide range of activities. Care planning is the basis for care and support, and involves both residents and relatives in decision making.
The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, with visitors encouraged to spend time with the people we support and our staff group, joining in with care planning and activities, which include gardening and cooking and many other exciting things. The home is split into two communities; one community for frail older people that provides end of life care, and the other for Dementia care with or without challenging behaviour. We can therefore provide a care pathway that has a small-home, family feel.
Our care home is staffed by committed and dedicated teams of qualified support staff and nurses, who offer round-the-clock care and support for those staying with us - on either a permanent or respite basis.
Please feel free to visit or to ring us at any time – we will be happy to help.

Our 'Paying to live in a care home' guide is designed to try and help you understand more about the funding options available and what to consider when choosing a care home.
