Activities at Windmill Manor Care Home

Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Barchester Donates to Bloomin'Art's.

Here at Windmill Manor care home we had the pleasure of delivering a cheque for the sum of £1400.00 to the local charity Bloomin’Art’s.

Windmill Manor welcomed Gaynor Thurbin a Fundraiser for Bloomin Art’s and Ellie a participant for the charity to receive the cheque and celebrate being awarded the grant.

The grant had been awarded by Barchester’s Charitable Foundation, a charity that helps older people and adults with a disability or mental health problems across England, Scotland and Wales by offering grants to help people connect or re-connect with others in their local community

Bloomin' Arts offers people with learning disabilities to enjoy, develop skills and perform and work in the arts

Excellent Activities Team

Sherry and Molly the core of our Activities here at Windmill Manor do a fabulous job arranging activities and events for our resident's and staff.

This week we celebrated National Activity Providers and Professionals Week, organised by NAPA and running from 23rd to 27th January this year, to recognise and celebrate the incredible work that they do every day.

What better way to reward our dynamic duo than with flowers and a cake
