Activities at Windmill Manor Care Home

Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Life at Windmill Manor Care Home

,

New Additions

Meet the new additions to our family here at Windmill Manor. Their mummy nested in our communal outside area, and our babies were born. We have now safely moved them into their very own hanging basket home, where mother and babies are all doing well.

Making New Friends

We are doing everything to make sure our residents are still connecting with the outside world at this time. We have teamed up with a local school and have been overwhelmed by the letters, pictures and words of hope and happiness. Our residents are writing back to them. Hopefully new friends in the making.

Darts Competition

If we cant get to the Pub we bring it to us. Never forgetting the gentlemen of the home, We had a great afternoon with our Darts competition, nibbles and a pint. Staying in has never been so good.

Pizza Making.

We bought the taste of Italy to Hurst Green, with our very own pizza making masterclass. Residents chose there toppings, prepped, chopped & decorated their pizzas. Of course there was room for the tasting too.

Weekly Slow Yoga Class

Kay our local yoga instructor shows us her moves in our weekly class. Its a firm favourite with our residents and everyone feels relaxed and ready to face the day after. Come down and join us for a session.

Fun on the Magic Table

Its brings so much joy and fun to all our residents and guests alike. The interactive magic table comes to life on a daily basis here at our home. We all get so much out of it. The games can get quite competitive too.
