Activities at Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community

Our team of activities staff and volunteers are constantly striving to improve the lives of our residents. This includes the quality of our regular entertainers, the new PAT dog and cat visits, the new singing entertainment in residents bedrooms and the personalised visits by volunteers. We also encourage relatives and friends to join in with activities and trips out whenever they can.

As the festive season begins, the team at Wimbledon Beaumont would like to encourage you to join them to take part in our varied activities and regular trips out.

Life at Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community

Minibus Trip

Our residents enjoyed a lovely trip out recently. On the day, we went to The Windmill where we had tea and coffee at the café. A great time was had by all.

,

Chinese New Year

It’s the year of the Tiger and our residents were treated to a delicious spread of traditional Chinese dishes and great company.

Sweet Sound

Every week Sophie visits the residents at Wimbledon Beaumont to grace us with the beautiful sound of her saxophone. Residents, staff, relatives and visitors all love hearing her play in the mornings.

,

Creativity at its best

Our residents have really been enjoying their art sessions with the amazing Kirsteen. With her encouragement and words of wisdom our residents are able to create beautiful art work at the end

Daily sparkle

Every morning our beautiful Pam who worked as a secretary for many years, prepares the daily sparkle newspaper ready to distribute to the residents. She is very dedicated and never misses a day.

Remembrance Day

We Commemorated Remembrance Day as we joined the rest of the United Kingdom in holding a two minute silence. As well as wearing poppies and watching the televised service from The Centopath, residents took part in a therapeutic activity making a poppies display which included the names of those closest to the residents.
