Activities at The Warren Care Home

Here at The Warren, our activities team are always very busy thinking of new ways to keep residents active, both physically and mentally. We have regular trips out in the minibus, both locally and further a field, including the London Eye and the Thames River Trip), at least once a week during the summer months. We also enjoy visits from PAT dogs and have professional exercise sessions and live entertainment, which are always popular.

Kirstie Tifrani

Activities Coordinator

My name is Kirstie and I am lucky enough to be the Activities Coordinator here at The Warren.

I have many years of experience working in care homes in Activities and leisure and lifestyle roles.

I love being part of The Warren team and supporting our residents to live their best lives with fun, interesting, and varied activities available every week. I always feel that the importance of residents' input into our weekly planner is important giving all residents equal opportunity to explore new interests as well as keeping up with previous interests and hobbies.

Christmas at The Warren

Wishing all our friends and relatives a very merry Christmas from us all here at The Warren Care home. We were visited by Santa and her little elf this morning giving out gifts to all our residents. A very big thank you to the Pupils at Sprowston Community Academy for the gifts for the residents they were overwhelmed with your kindness.

Magical Lights!!

More festive memories made tonight.  We took the residents to see the Tunnel of Light, the Assembly House and the Norwich castle projection.  It was extremely cold so we warmed up with hot chocolate and then fish and chips on the way home.

A huge well done Afua...you rock our bakery world. ,

Bake off!!

Our absolute amazing 2nd chef bowled us over with her creation.  She made every single individual square by hand and made it look like a cable knit sweater!!!  Afua even topped it with a sleeping figure full after their Christmas Dinner. Good Luck in the Barchester Christmas Cake Compition.

Elvis is in the building!!

Lovely day followed by a lovely night and fun was had by all.  Firstly, we made some wonderful Christmas Wreaths.  We had great fun, and they look great.

This evening we carried on with The Barry Tone Experience.

We all sung, we danced, we laughed, and we had great fun.  I also finally got to say "Ladies and Gentlemen, Elvis has left the building"
