Activities at The Warren Care Home
Here at The Warren, our activities team are always very busy thinking of new ways to keep residents active, both physically and mentally. We have regular trips out in the minibus, both locally and further a field, including the London Eye and the Thames River Trip), at least once a week during the summer months. We also enjoy visits from PAT dogs and have professional exercise sessions and live entertainment, which are always popular.
Kirstie Tifrani
My name is Kirstie and I am lucky enough to be the Activities Coordinator here at The Warren.
I have many years of experience working in care homes in Activities and leisure and lifestyle roles.
I love being part of The Warren team and supporting our residents to live their best lives with fun, interesting, and varied activities available every week. I always feel that the importance of residents' input into our weekly planner is important giving all residents equal opportunity to explore new interests as well as keeping up with previous interests and hobbies.
Read our brochure 'Life-enriching activities' for more information about life in our care homes.

20 Years of Service
Becky started work at The Warren as a Chef before being promoted to Head Chef in 2008. Becky, along with her catering team, has worked hard to once again achieve 5 stars in her Food Hygiene Inspection this year.
Congratulations, Becky, from everyone at The Warren.
Nathan's 10 Years at The Warren
Nathan was a contract gardener for two years before becoming an official employee for Barchester at The Warren in 2007, when he joined as part of the maintenance team.
In 2008, he also took on the role of Home Trainer and won both the Home Trainer of the Year and the Maintenance Champion awards at the 2012 Barchester Care Awards. We believe he may be the only person to have won two awards.
By 2014, Nathan had been promoted to Regional Maintenance Coordinator. He is well acquainted with The Warren, as before it was a care home, he worked on the site when it was a coal yard back in the 1980s.
John's Handywork
This is John, who is very proudly showing off his model of the Cutty Sark, which he received for Christmas. John built this very quickly and has already got another project on the go. He also paints and is currently painting a picture of Pulls Ferry, a well known landmark in the city of Norwich.
Carol's 10 Years at The Warren
