Activities at Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home
The activity team within our home spend a lot of time committing themselves to organising a range of activities for residents. This includes, pet therapy, trips out to local places of interest, visits from entertainers and musicians, bingo, one to one pamper time, weekly quizzes, coffee mornings, arts and crafts and baking. Activities are considered to be a crucial aspect of our home as residents look forward to upcoming events. As a result, it is essential that our team work together with dedication, to ensure residents are entertained and involved in as many activities as possible.

Bullseye

The game became very competitive but with a bullseye for John he was officially crowned the winner! The residents who did not wish to play were very helpful with their math skills and working out the scores.
Residents delighted with robotic pet
Stamford Bridge have recently purchased a robotic, lifelike cat toy that is designed to create a virtual pet experience, allowing people with dementia who may not be able to have a pet of their own for various reasons to benefit from having a companion to talk to and spend time with. The residents have been getting so much pleasure from having the cat around and is a hit throughout the home with many residents sharing stories of pets they have owned.‘
Beach Day
Residents at Stamford Bridge Beaumont in Stamford Bridge enjoyed a day at the seaside from the comfort of their own home.
Residents and staff all got involved with the spirit of the seaside themed day. With regular trips out unable to happen during the current pandemic the activity staff wanted to ensure that residents didn’t miss out on a day at the seaside.
Residents enjoyed fish and chips from newspaper trays, beach volley ball, hook a duck, sandcastle building music and of course no trip to the seaside would be the same without an ice creams!
