Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!
Natasha Lindo
Natasha is the Activities Coordinator here at Hall Park. Natasha really enjoys her job as no two days are ever the same. The life enrichment and daily activities program aims to provide stimulation for the mind, body and soul by engaging with residents daily. We all love to use our imagination and here we encourage creative activities. We also have a minibus which is used weekly to take residents out to cafes, local beauty spots and day trips.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Hall Park Care Home
King Charles' Birthday Celebrations
Our staff and residents celebrated King Charles' birthday and Remembrance Day at Hall Park Care Home.
Residents had a celebration with an afternoon tea that our head chef Samantha prepared. She also made homemade Victoria sponges and cream cakes to help with the celebration.
Also, we had Mark Two production come into the home. Kevin and Marie were absolutely fantastic and got residents laughing so much - you can see from the photos that they had a brilliant time.
They also interacted with the residents and had so many different costume changes.
The residents enjoyed it so much so, we have invited Kevin and Marie back to do new year celebrations.
Wear a Poppy with Pride
Remembrance Sunday is a day to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts.
During the day, our residents enjoyed putting a remembrance display together, with their own handmade knitted poppies, which turned out beautifully.
We enjoyed watching the Remembrance Day ceremony to honour veterans and armed forces members who have died in the line of duty and we had a good old sing along to songs such as Vera Lynn's 'We'll Meet Again'.
It was a lovely day of remembrance, enjoyed by all.
Hall Park residents treated to pamper session
At Hall Park, it is important for us to cater to everyone’s needs within our activities and show person centred care, as not all of our residents like being in big group sessions,
So we do smaller groups and one to ones. Some of our ladies love to have a pamper session, where they can soak their feet in a foot spa and receive a relaxing foot massage and having a good old natter.
As you can see from our residents faces they really enjoyed themselves.
Pawfect day at Hall Park care home
Hall Park Care Home we had a visit from Niamh the Siberian husky. She is 3 years old but still so small. She was absolutely amazing so beautiful.
We took her to Memory Lane to see all the residents and as from the smiles on their faces they really loved her. We have booked for her to come back as she was so popular with all the residents.
Thank you Gemma from Canine Concern CIO for bringing in beautiful Niamh she was so well behaved and can't wait to see you both again.
A mini bus outing to Matlock
Some of our residents from memory lane joined staff and resident Kathleen's daughter to a trip to Matlock.
We had such a great time looking at the shops and also stopping off for a cup of tea in the local pub.
We also went to the bikers chip shop for a fish, chips and peas which we all enjoyed .
Resident Janice loved seeing all the motorbike and reminiscing about her riding motorbikes when she was younger
The views on the way to Matlock and back are absolutely stunning and the residents loved looking at the homes in the hills.
Pamper Day
At Hall Park, it is important for us to cater to everyone’s needs within our activities. Not all of our residents like being in big group sessions, so we do smaller groups and one to ones. Their favourite activity is to have a pamper session, where they can have nail care or a foot spa with a massage. While enjoying these sessions it gives our residents a chance to sit and talk to one another, which helps to build on relationships. Some of the friendships they have with one another is magical filled with smiles and laughter.
