Activities at Hagley Place Care Home

Activities plays a big part in the care we deliver to residents; activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.

I have a long background in the care industry and love to incorporate the outdoors in my activities. This role is very special as it allows me the time to get to know our residents and their families in a deeply personal way.

Adorable Exotic Animals

Hagley Place had a visit from some adorable exotic animals recently; a crowd favourite was the the European black fox cub, which everyone enjoyed cuddling.

Hagley Place's April Employee of the Month

Hagley Place's Head of Housekeeping, Stephanie Evans, has been awarded Employee of the Month for April.

Stephanie is always so cheerful that she is referred to as "a little ray of sunshine" by some residents, going "above and beyond" to make sure that they are all as happy and comfortable as they can possibly be.
