Activities at Hagley Place Care Home
Activities plays a big part in the care we deliver to residents; activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.

I have a long background in the care industry and love to incorporate the outdoors in my activities. This role is very special as it allows me the time to get to know our residents and their families in a deeply personal way.

Art Therapy sessions are Enjoyed by many
We have been busy with Art club & art therapy sessions, watching Wimbledon on the TV while enjoying afternoon treats, exercise class with Nina and lots more. We have many happy residents who enjoy activities with their friends, it is a happy place to be!
Windy Trip to Local Airfield
We saw very dramatic skies at Shobdon Airfield. We all braved the winds to watch the planes flying off and landing. It was a fabulous afternoon out on our Minibus!
Happy Birthday to Phil
A very Happy Birthday to our lovely Resident Phil !! He enjoyed wine with his friends and was looking forward to sharing his delicious homemade cake at tea time!
Shopping Trip Was a Treat!
Our ladies certainly know how to shop!! A minibus trip to our favourite Marks & Spencers store really hit the spot. Followed by a lovely lunch at House of Fraser. It was a fabulous day enjoyed tremendously by us all.
Jubilee Celebrations Fit For a Queen
We watched Jubilee parade celebrations followed by a magnificent lunch. Over the weekend we celebrated in our beautiful garden with live entertainment & enjoyed a superb buffet made by our chef, raffles & stalls & fun staff awards. What a wonderful weekend it was.
90th Birthday Celebrations with Family
Louise is a new resident, so what better way to celebrate & welcome all of Louise's family & friends to Hagley Place for her 90th birthday party. Family came all the way from Northern Ireland especially to see Louise, it truly was a very special day.
