Activities at Cheverton Lodge Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians, as well as art therapy, flower arranging, Exercise to music and quizzes. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as they can, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.

Let's Connect!
Cheverton Lodge in partnership with Whitehall Park School in Islington, join together to celebrate "Place2Be's Children's Mental Health Week", helping to make a difference to the lives of children and young people across the UK. This year's theme is Let's Connect.
Residents and students had a lovely time sharing ball game memories and songs. Looking forward for their next visit!

We are proud of each and every one of our team for the unique, outstanding activities and entertainment they bring to our residents every single day. They always go above and beyond their role and for this we are truly grateful.
As part of the week, our Activities Coordinators have been taking part in a whole host of events provided by NAPA, connecting and sharing ideas with teams across the country.
Special celebrations are also taking place at the home throughout the week with residents, friends and fellow colleagues.

Celebrations Inspired by Chinese culture and traditions.
Kung Hei Fat Choy! We hope the year of the rabbit brings you joy, good health and happiness.
Staff and residents at Cheverton Lodge Care Home welcomed in the Year of the Rabbit with a day of celebrations and activities.
Inspired by Chinese culture and traditions, the home was decorated with hanging red lanterns. Residents learnt all about the traditions and superstitions of Chinese New Year. Head chef Katherina cooked up an oriental feast for lunch and residents enjoyed the delicious food washed down with a choice of Chinese tea or wines.

Merry Christmas!
The residents at Cheverton Lodge were all smiles when they received a visit from Father Christmas and his wife bringing them their gifts. The day was filled with visits from loved ones, creating special memories. Our head chef pulled out all the stops on Christmas day to ensure the veg was prepped and the turkey was basted to perfection. Our residents enjoyed a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, followed by Christmas pudding and whipped cream or brandy butter for that extra bit of indulgence.
Happy 100th Birthday Winnie!
Residents and staff would all like to wish Winnie a Happy 100th Birthday! Winnie had a lovely day celebrating with lots of lovely gifts, flowers and a gorgeous cake!
Welcome to 2023!
A lovely way to welcome in 2023 with one of our residents favourite entertainers, Debbie Tomson. We had a good old sing along to lots of classics and even a dance. Wishing all our friends and family a very happy and healthy 2023 from all of us here at Cheverton Lodge.
