Bloomfield is a purpose-built home providing 24-hour nursing care to frail older people. It is split into five units, including two for people living with dementia. It is set in large, secure gardens. Bristol and Avonmouth are both nearby and public transport links are good.
Care at Bloomfield is based on detailed assessments and care plans, which cover areas like life history, likes and dislikes, spiritual and religious needs and all aspects of personal daily living needs. Bloomfield has three activities coordinators, working with residents and staff to ensure that everyone can choose group or one-to-one activities that reflect their interests. Group activities include pottery, gardening, crafts, crosswords, baking and trips out.
The best way to decide about Bloomfield is to come to see it for yourself. We welcome visitors and are happy to be contacted to help with advice where we can.
