Bloomfield Care Centre
Bloomfield Care Centre in Paulton near Bath
Located near Bath and Bristol, Bloomfield is a purpose-built residential care home providing 24-hour nursing care, dementia care and respite care for frail older people. It is split into five units, including two for people living with dementia. Care at our home is based on detailed assessments and care plans, which cover areas like life history, likes and dislikes, spiritual and religious needs and all aspects of personal daily living needs.
Bloomfield's activities coordinators work with residents and staff to ensure that everyone can choose group or one-to-one activities that reflect their interests. Group activities include pottery, gardening, crafts, crosswords, baking and trips out.
The best way to decide about Bloomfield is to come to see it for yourself. We welcome visitors and are happy to be contacted to help with advice where we can.

Types of care
The care we provide is of the utmost importance to the whole team; our main concern is that residents feel safe, happy and comfortable at Bloomfield Care Centre. We will consult residents and families when creating care plans, with aims of making our services as person-centred as possible. We will enquire about life before Bloomfield, so that we get a clear picture of who residents are, inside and out. We received a 'Good' rating in our last CQC inspection because the staff at Bloomfield are passionate about care - and it shows!
