Activities at Trinity Manor Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Hi, My name is Bibesh Shrestha, Activity Coordinator

Having more than 10 years of professional experience in multiple sectors at different places have given me the confidence to get involved in any challenging environment where my skills and experience will be instrumental in achieving personal and social goals.

Being a motivator and influencer to the people around me has always been my passion, and also part of my profession. As an Activity Coordinator, my ultimate goal is to transfer my energy and spread my happiness.

Life at Trinity Manor Care Home

Mother’s Day

Trinity Manor was inundated with beautiful flowers and gifts for all of the wonderful mothers that we have within our home.

Everyone enjoyed a lovely home cooked Sunday roast and a beautiful afternoon tea, it was smiles all round as sons and daughters came to visit.

National Macaron Day

Residents at Trinity Manor were treated by Deputy Manager, Paul, to a selection of Parisian inspired light and crispy Macarons.

The flavours included; Blood Orange, Pistachio, Salted Carmel, Raspberry, Lemon and Chocolate.

It’s fair to say that these little treats were a firm favourite across our home.

Up Periscope

Trinity Manor recently welcomed students from Sherborne Girls to deliver a fantastically interactive STEM Workshop.

Focusing on principles of light, our residents were guided through making periscopes and learning about refraction, coming away with some pretty handy tools - perfect for checking the tops of their wardrobes and seeing if there's any wine left on the top shelf!

A big thank you to the school team for spending their afternoon with us - it was very much enjoyed by all!

Trinity Tots

Hosted at Trinity Manor, our Trinity Tots playgroup has continued to be an absolute blast. Already a hit with the children, it's been amazing to see our residents get involved and interact with the session. They're forged a marvellous connection with our attendees and it is so heart warming to watch!

Easter Egg Delivery

We are extremely grateful to our wonderful friends from '874 - Sherborne Air Cadet Squadron' for organising a special delivery of Easter Eggs and treats for all our residents.

On duty today we had Sargent Josh, Sargent Alice and Corporal Rose, who were keen to meet those whom they had organised a great donation to. Starting in the lounge for some afternoon tea, they toured the home, stopping by and delivering eggs to the residents by hand, wishing all of us a very Happy Easter!

Our residents were able to pick their favourite treats from an impressively varied selection on offer and have a chat to the cadets, all of whom impressed with their smart presentation and interesting stories.

Hot Cross Bun Bonanza

It's been a very busy couple of days at Trinity Manor ...

Throughout Good Friday & Easter Saturday, we've been sampling some alternative flavours of hot cross buns. Made by Chef Liam, our residents had the choice between:

- Very Berry

- Lemon & White Chocolate

- St Clements

- Chocolate Orange

All were very popular and it wasn't long before we we're off out sourcing more due to their incredibly popular reception.
