It's been a year since I was last there to visit my mam and I have to say thank you to the amazing team at springvale for looking after her from the day she went to you to the day she went to heaven. From my first visit to look around to see how you worked. Halloween 2019 . Full of fun . To the hard times of COVID and knowing she was being looked after so well . To normality and then to knowing she was leaving us you were all amazing. With mam and me and my family. I meant to do this sooner but didn't know how to explain it . Till now . Anyone looking for a home for there loved ones couldn't get any better than springvale..

"When visiting the staff are all very friendly and helpful, also they are really good with the residents, very caring, always keep my family updated on any issues with my mam, my mam seems very happy and comfortable there. Thank you to all the staff."

"Springvale Court is a lovely home with friendly, caring, professional staff. My Mam recently moved in there and the welcome we received was second to none. Every single member of staff introduced themselves and made us so welcome with a tea tray and cakes. A nice touch. From the minute we arrived we knew it was the best home for her. Mam has settled in well and we can now rest knowing she is safe and cared for. It's not an easy decision moving your parent into care, however they made a difficult time so much easier. The home pulled out all of the stops to get Mam moved in swiftly from a bad experience at another home. We can't thank them enough. Without doubt this home is managed to an extremely high standard."

"We have used Springvale for the past 18 month for Mam, and have always been very happy with all of the service's . Communication was excellent, and we have been impressed that any issues identified by Springvale with my mum's care have been raised speedily and dealt with. They were very good at keeping us informed. We would get a call even if she had the slightest injury. This is a very professional and efficient home and staff which has really took onboard the problems of my Mams illness. They took too her from day one, mam was very reluctant to go into a home, but we had no choice, but the lasses had her killing her self-laughing within 5 mins, tea and biscuits were served immediately. They were always ready with a kind word for her, they loved her like their own, Mam was very happy in there, and she loved the Lads & Lasses back with just as much enthusiasm, I'm so glad we found this home for Mam to enjoy her final months. The manager and her staff are angels in disguise xx"

"Absolutely lovely staff who can't do enough for their residents, it's such a lovely homely place to be/visit.. My mum loves being there and I love coming up there to see her and when I do she's always got a smile on her face and really happy to see us and when I leave my mind is massively at ease knowing how cared for and looked after she is.."

"My 92-year-old Mam has just been in Springvale for 2 weeks of respite care. We can't thank all the care staff and the home administrator for giving us the opportunity for a break. All the care staff made Mam very welcome and settled her into her short-term home so that we didn't have any worries about going on holiday. Her care was excellent. Springvale is so clean with great facilities and activities we can't fault the care at all. Mam especially enjoyed the activities that the Activities Coordinator had arranged and even came out with sparkly nails which she loved! We really appreciated all that everybody did for Mam! Thank You!"

"Really pleased with the care being given to my mam. The staff are pleasant and patient with mam - who can be difficult at times. Although she has only been in Springvale for a short time, her health and appearance have greatly improved. This is all down to the lovely staff."

"My mother has been a resident in Springvale Court for the last six years. In this time, she has always been treated with respect and dignity. Over recent months, her health has deteriorated, but her care has been excellent. All the staff, from the care manager to the cleaning staff, are so respectful. Couldn't wish for a better place for my mother to end her life."

"We liked this home for my aunt with dementia for several reasons. Firstly, it was very clean. Secondly, it was a nice size, not too big, and felt homely. Thirdly, they have a separate unit upstairs, so when her Alzheimer's progress, at least she will only have to go upstairs and well recognise the staff. It has been a difficult time with Covid, but Barchester has sent regular emails to keep families involved."

"My uncle was admitted into Springvale earlier this month. To say we were made welcome as a family is an understatement. The manager and staff have been absolutely amazing, making us feel at ease with everything and including us in decisions. As hard as it has been for my aunt, we feel we could not have chosen anywhere better than Springvale Court. Thank you."

"The staff are caring towards my mam and supportive with family issues if any. Mam recently broke her hip and required hospital admission and operation then recovery, the staff were amazing and very attentive. I don't know anything about the food and drinks but the juices/tea and coffee trolley is always about. I have not seen the activities in a while but I don't think mam would attend."

"So far my experience with Springvale Court Care Home has been excellent. The staff are all lovely. My dad has settled in very well here. I feel he is getting the care he needs. I know he is safe and there is no way he can get out. He is getting well fed and the food always looks really good and I know he enjoys what he gets as he usually has seconds! Overall I am happy with Dad's care."

"I have only been in since May. The regular staff are lovely but agency are not so good. Day shift is better than night shift. The entertainment is good when we have it (or activities) but needs to be more regular. My room is cleaned every day and is spotless. The lounge is my least favourite place, it is too small. This is a lovely place though, I feel safe."

"This is a new experience for me, unfortunately, I have had to learn very quickly because of the way my mother's health turned around. We had my mother-in-law in this home some ten years ago and always thought it was the right place for her. The staff are all very professional and kind and always have a smile on their faces when we go in to visit. the place itself is nipping clean with no smell which was one of the things I dreaded. Mother can be a bit awkward at times but the staff took it all on board and spent a lot of time encouraging her to mix. The food always smells nice and my mother has never complained, she is a very fussy eater but she seems to eat well, as I can see she is putting weight on. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff collect her washing and returns it the next day which is great. We honestly cannot say enough good things about this place or the staff. It's such a relief that we now know Mother is well looked after and safe."

"Can't recommend the care home enough. The staff go above and beyond their duties, they're hardworking, kind, thoughtful and caring. It is a nice feeling knowing my mother's in capable, caring hands. I'm confident she's getting the best care possible for her condition. All staff and management deserve the utmost respect. Well done all."

"On entering this home for the first time, I got an instant vibe that it was friendly, caring and clean. My mam has been a resident for three months now and we, her family, have never seen her happier. The staff are all very caring, approachable and friendly and they treat all their resident with dignity and care. The home is lovely, clean and everyone is always happy. The food is lovely and I like that there is a choice for breakfast, lunch etc."

"My husband has been in for 1 month. They have lowered the age to 60 years for him. He has settled well and I also feel at home when I go to visit. Always made very welcome. "Having to put my Mam into a care home has been heartbreaking but the staff at this care home have made things so much easier. Every single member of staff goes out of their way to make sure everyone is well looked after and cared for even if it’s just being there for my Mam to talk to. If you are thinking of putting your loved one in this care home I highly recommend it! I can’t thank the staff enough."

"My sister has been Springvale Court since March 2023. I have visited her regularly since. I found the surroundings and the staff very nice. There is a lovely atmosphere wherever I go. The staff are excellent and very caring, they have a great sense of humour and my family and I have great laughs with them. I feel she is in a safe place and most days she is happy."

"My very elderly aunt was admitted some time ago to Barchester Springvale Court Care Home due to dementia. She settled in fairly quickly and seemed content. Over time, her condition deteriorated slowly until recently when she was put on end-of-life care. The staff (all inclusive) have been excellent. Their attitude, their friendliness, their care and professionalism have been second to none. They have become my aunt's full-time family when we could not be. They have made a very difficult and emotional time so much easier to get through. I have, in the past, worked within the care sector and know very well the difference between good, indifferent and poor care facilities. My background means I know what to take note of and I can honestly say that I had no concerns at all about the standards at this facility or the staff, I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to all concerned."

"Mam suffers from dementia and has been a resident since February 2024. The day she was admitted was her 90th birthday and the staff gave her flowers, card and a cake on arrival, such a lovely gesture. Words cannot express how very professional, caring and sympathetic all the staff are. They have spent a lot of money on extending and maintaining the garden which on a sunny day is a lovely place to sit. This home was the first one me and my sister visited and after looking around we made our choice. We have not been disappointed. Well done team Barchester Springvale Court Care Home."

Having visited my wife several times a week for eight months, I know that I made the right decision. "The home itself gives off a pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly staff and residents, nice aroma too! The meals are great with lots of choice and cater for anyone with allergies, dislikes etc. Rooms are a nice size, with en-suite too. My father is happy and content living here which settles me so I am happy too."
