Hi, my name is Judith, and I am General Manager here at Springvale Court. Welcome to our website!
I have worked in the care industry since 2000. I have an NVQ Level 4 in Leadership & Management, and a Level 3 in End of Life Care. I am kind and compassionate and I focus on providing a safe, warm and caring environment for everyone I support.
I have extensive experience in building positive relationships and embedding the key principals of care in those I work alongside.
Hi, my name is Gemma and I joined Barchester in May 2014 and I am the Deputy Home Manager here at Springvale Court formerly part of the Senior Carers team. I thoroughly enjoy looking after the residents and spending time chatting to them and doing daily activities.
I continue to develop my skills to support our residents on a day-to-day basis, We enjoy our jobs and enjoy any training that helps with our continued development that enhances the delivery of great quality of care to our residents within the home.
Hi my name is Larraine Gaffing, I have worked in admin and within office environments for many years, my previous job was at Marks and Spencers where I worked from 1986 until 2020. I have many years’ experience of working within admin and I am really looking forward to begin my new role within Barchester Springvale Court. I look forward to also be a part of the fantastic team that we have here, I already feel settled in and look forward to building a friendship with our lovely residents.
Hi, my name is Sydney and I joined Springvale in April 2020 as activities co-ordinator and transferred to care as a senior carer in June 2021.We have created a wonderful culture within the home and, as a team, we work together to give residents the best possible experience.
Essential to our homely feel is the strong relationships of trust we build with residents and their families and friends. I have a passion to help people be the best they can be and enjoy every aspect of life, and I look forward to meeting you when you visit our home.
I have worked at Springvale Court since 2009. My father lived at this home and that was how I became a member of the team here.
Prior to working for Barchester I have worked in the catering industry for over eight years. I have a City & Guilds NVQ 1 & 2 in Multi Skilled Hospitality Services. I am passionate about my work and feel a sense of achievement when resident have enjoyed their meals.
I am always interested in people's idea for our menus and liaise with seniors about residents' dietary requirements. I'll always ensure that residents, staff, loved ones and visitors are offered refreshments upon arrival.
I especially like making cakes and other sweet treats for the children when local schools visit, and love seeing how much they enjoy eating them.
Hi, my name is Ray and I started at Springvale Court in November 2018. I enjoy working with the team and putting every effort into making this place look and feel like home for residents.
Hi, my name is Marie and I joined Barchester in July 2018. I am Head of Housekeeping here at Springvale and I enjoy working with the homes housekeeping team. I like talking to residents and making sure their rooms are clean and tidy. I want to help residents remain as independent as possible.
We work hard to ensure that the home maintains Barchester's high standards and that we work to create a relaxed, personal atmosphere for residents, relatives and staff.
I have worked at Springvale Court since 2013 and have been in the care sector for over 30 years, qualifying as an RGN. I provide high quality care to everyone we support here at Springvale Court.
I have worked at Springvale Court since 1998. I work as a Senior Care Assistant and I have completed my NVQ level 1 & 2 in care. I supervise the delivery of high quality care within the carer team.
I have been in the care sector since 2011. I started at Springvale Court at the end of 2017, and I love it here. I was originally a care assistant, and have worked my way up to a senior care worker. I am working towards my NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care with the help of Barchester.
I have worked at Springvale Court since August 2017 and have been in the care sector for 4 and a half years, I provide high quality person centred care to everyone we support here at Springvale Court. I am passionate about my role as a Senior Carer. I was a care assistant for 3 years and then decided to follow my career goals and became a senior carer 1 year ago, I am currently working towards my team adult care level 3 diploma.
I have worked at Springvale Court since March 2017, I provide high quality person centred care to everyone we support in Springvale, I am passionate about my role as a senior care assistant, I was a care assistant for 3 years and then decided to follow my career goals and worked towards becoming a senior care assistant one year ago. I am currently working towards my Adult lead worker level 3 diploma in residential and nursing care. I also undergo any training requirements to gain knowledge in all areas of my job role.
