Springvale Court is a residential care home providing personal care and support for older people, including people living with dementia. It is located in the Wrekenton area of Gateshead, on the site of the former Miner’s Welfare club, close to local shops and public transport links.

Care at Springvale Court is based around careful assessment and care planning, carried out with the individual concerned and their relatives. These regularly reviewed care plans allow us to tailor activities, diet and medical care to meet personal needs.

We are always pleased to welcome visitors to Springvale Court and we are happy to provide advice when we can.

Types of care

Springvale Court provides residential and dementia care. Staff are well trained and we understand that each resident has individual needs, therefore the care planning is carried out with residents and loved ones present to allow us to offer person-centred care for the people who chose to live with us.
