Activities at Magnolia Court Care Home

Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life. Our Activities Coordinators work as a team by involving staff and relatives in the activities sessions. They implement and plan activities tailored to residents' likes, dislikes, beliefs and life stories. Lots of people choose to place loved ones in Magnolia Court because of our reputation for hosting great activities all year long!

Life at Magnolia Court Care Home

Gardening club at Magnolia Court

Brightening Up Our DaysLast week residents and some of their loved ones joined us for a gardening club. We planted new bulbs and plants all around the garden and in hanging baskets. We have many residents that have always maintained a beautiful garden with all kinds of plants, therefore it was only right that they advised us on what bulbs to buy and how they should be planted. Resident Judy really is a master green finger and she helped to lead the club. We couldn't of done it without her. We cant wait for the flowers to bloom and make our garden wonderfully colourful and inviting.

Pet therapy is the best therapy.

Does anything beat pet therapy? We absolutely love it when our friend Teddy and his owner Lisa visit us. Teddy visits us every fortnight and we declare, he really does give the best cuddles ever.Therapy Dogs Nationwide we cant thank you enough for cheering up our afternoons every fortnight.
