Types of care
The care we provide is delivered in a way that promotes independence for those who live in our home. Where possible, it is important that residents are encouraged to perform daily tasks independently or with minor support. Clare Sinclair
Hi, my name is Clare and I am the General Manager here at Kingfisher Lodge. Welcome to our website!
Before joining Barchester, I worked in the NHS for 30 years as a qualified Mental Health Nurse. More recently, I moved into the private sector as a Nursing Home Manager.
My career has mainly been in adult nursing, working with the elderly who have complex mental health needs. In 2015, I moved into the private sector , where I managed a successful nursing home for 44 residents, providing specialist care services for older people in need of support due to physical illnesses or for those living with dementia, in addition to end of life care.
I am proud to have had such a rewarding career. Professionally, I am proud of my continued achievements and determination to always strive for excellence, which is proven in my previous home's 'Outstanding' CQC report.
