Eaton Foundation holding fun run to fund its new centre

The Eaton Foundation, which supports men suffering with mental health issues, will be holding a fun run to fund a move to a new centre.

The 5-km run will be held on September 26th at Shobnall Leisure Complex to support a relocation to Shaftesbury House. The charity hopes to expand its health and wellbeing services, and it has already been given £9,000 from Grant Aid.

According to the Burton Mail, Alex Eaton, who set up the charity, said: "We will be quite near town. We wanted to keep everything within the town as we didn't want to make much of a change. We are still keeping the holistic support service, and having lots of activities and group sessions. It is basically a safe space where people can chat with their peers."

The run will take place from 10am - for more information, call 01283 568341.
