Meet the The Wingfield Care Home Team

Hello, my name is Lavinia and I am the Head of The Lodge Community here at The Wingfield.  I trained as a nurse in Romania and moved to the UK nine years ago, initially I was a nurse at a care home in Devon, and then joined The Wingfield seven years ago.  I have worked as a nurse in all the communities here, I was promoted to the Head of our Memory Lane Community and now I am enjoying my role as Head of Community in our separate building The Lodge. 

I love working with our wonderful residents, listening to their life stories and being part of their lives.  My role as Head of Community means I am able to spend time with all our residents.

Hello, my name is Elena and im the unit manager of Poppy Lane at Wingfield, welcome to our website. Im passionate about offering person centred care and knowing that I have made a difference. I am proud to work at Wingfield.

Hello, my name is Pat, I’ve worked in the care sector for over 20 years starting with Barchester in 2021.  I look after the finance and administration of the home.  My door is always open and I am happy to help with any queries you may have.

I have a wealth of experience in the kitchen and look forward to bringing my passion and flare for our residents to enjoy! It's an absolute pleasure getting to know our residents, learning their favourite meals and creating dishes that bring comfort and joy.

My name is Chloe, my Barchester career journey began in care but now I'm the Activities Coordinator here at the Wingfield. I enjoy getting to know our residents and their families and take pride in delivering a comprehensive activities programme which not only supports their interests but also introduces new opportunities and challenges. My reward is seeing the residents’ smiles and hearing their laughter. I'm on hand to offer help, guidance and practical solutions to family members and The Wingfield Team.

Hello, my name is Tracey, I have been working for Barchester now for over 3 years, originally the Head of Housekeeping, I was very hands on alongside the maintenance team.  When I was approached by the manager to be the Head of Maintenance I jumped at the chance.   I am here with the team to make the home a safe and well maintained place to live, work and visit.
