Westvale House is a high quality, purpose-built care home that provides residential and nursing care for older people in need of support. Alongside this, we also offer care for younger people with physical disabilities. Care at Westvale is delivered by our highly skilled and attentive team who are focussed on providing person-centred care in a warm and friendly environment.

The high standards of care at Westvale House are reflected across all aspects of life within the home, including our food, hospitality and through our extensive activities programme. Our chefs are committed to providing nutritious and tasty dishes, while our full-time Activities Coordinator ensures there is a variety of activities and events, all built around the likes and interests of those we support.

Westvale House is ideally situated within the Sankey Valley Park area of Cheshire, around 3 miles from Warrington town centre. Hi, my name is Matthew and I am the General Manager here at Westvale House. Welcome to our website!

I started my career in care as a care assistant and have worked my way up to the General Manager of Westvale House, and I am passionate about the excellent care standards and customer service that we provide here. I have a degree in Management Studies and also have a qualification in dementia care.

 I am sure you will enjoy visiting the home and meeting our team; we are all committed to providing the best possible services to residents and their loved ones.

Deputy Manager

I am the Deputy Manager here at Westvale House. I have been a Registered Nurse for over 15 years and worked as a Carer for 20 years previously.

All of my experience prior to qualifying as a nurse was in care homes, but since qualifying, I have worked in acute hospital settings. I have a wide range of experience, from general medical to elderly and stroke care.

Debbie is our Ground Floor Head of Unit and has worked with us since July 2015. Debbie has been qualified since 2005 and has a broad background in oncology, haematology and chemotherapy.
