Nestled in the rural village of Clotton in Cheshire, Iddenshall Hall Care Home is a carefully adapted farm house dating back to the 16th century. It oozes charm, elegance and character, but above all the distinct feeling is of a real home-from-home, which can offer 24-hour residential care. Our Memory Lane community, Beeston View, also offer residential and nursing care for those living with dementia.

Remaining active is important to us all and this attitude prevails at Iddenshall Hall. Our team of activity coordinators design a regular programme of events to meet the needs, hobbies and particular interests of individual residents.

Whether you need a long term placement or a short spell of respite our team at Iddenshall Hall will provide you and your loved one with the appropriate levels of support.

Why not give us a call today to see how we can best help you? Or if you are passing why not pop in for a coffee and a chat?

Our team

At Iddenshall Hall, our staff are dedicated to offering the best quality service to residents. It is important that we offer individualised support whilst promoting independence; we offer and encourage personal choice. Residents are encouraged to visit and select a room of their choice and are warmly invited to join us for a meal. Our whole home approach sees all staff actively engaging with residents and their loved ones on a daily basis. Residents are invited to personalise their rooms prior to moving in and we offer our full support at that time.

Suzanne Owen

General Manager

Welcome to Iddenshall Hall; my name is Suzanne and I am the General Manager here.

I qualified as a Mental Health Nurse in 1989 and have worked for both the NHS and in private sectors. I have specialised in care of the elderly within the private sector since 1996 and have worked for small, family run businesses, as well as for large corporate providers.

I am looking forward to working within a new team and with assisting with the development of the team, in addition to developing excellent relationships with residents/relatives/stakeholders/regulators and with the multidisciplinary teams.

As a team, we have achieved accreditation within both homes due to delivering person-centred care to levels that deemed the homes as centres of excellence.

Our care

Iddenshall Hall provides residential support and care for elderly people and encourages independence and personal choice during each person's stay. Support is offered to maintain links with the community and members from the neighbourhood are very welcome to visit us. We hold resident meetings as we feel it is important for those we care fore to have their say and to be heard whilst socially engaging with a little cheese and wine.

Types of care

Residential Care

Our residential care is ideal for frail older people that would benefit from additional care and support, but without the need for specialist nursing or dementia care.
