Jacqui and her team devise and plan fun group activities and events for all our residents, including pamper days, gentle exercise classes and music therapies. Regular one to one sessions and smaller groups are tailored to residents specific needs and hobbies with gardening and crafts amongst the most popular.
Hi, my name is David and I have been the Head of Maintenance here at Tyspane since June 2015.
Claire is responsible for the housekeeping and laundry team in Tyspane Care Home. She ensures the home meets a high standard of cleanliness and works closely with staff, residents and relatives. She works with her team to ensure that the home is clean and inviting.

Hi, My name is Karin and I am a Senior Carer here at Tyspane. I really enjoy working here and supporting our residents. The job is very rewarding.
Babs was previously the Head of Activities & Physiotherapy here at Tyspane, but now works only as the Physio Assistant.
Her main interests are keeping fit and she spends a lot of her spare time as a fitness instructor, holding various classes around the local community.
In 2016, she was awarded the 'Devon Best Practice Award' for her flexicise class. She owns our three 'paper dogs' – her three Maltese – who deliver papers with her in the morning.
She is band 4 in physio and really tries to make residents' days fun; she very much believes in the 'if you don’t use it, you lose it' mentality, so she always encourages residents to participate, regardless of mobility concerns, because everyone is able to do something!
