Tixover House provides high quality nursing and residential care for older people, including those with dementia in our specialist Memory Lane Community. We also offer respite care and short breaks, which can now be booked up to a year in advance. Care is provided by friendly, experienced and well-trained staff, who focus on the individual and support residents in maintaining their own interests and hobbies.
Our full-time activities coordinators are committed to ensuring that all residents continue to live a full and active lifestyle, facilitating varied and stimulating ways to enjoy their days. From gardening and music, to outings or just a cup of tea and a friendly chat – there’s something for everyone!
We are located in Rutland, and our home is easily accessible from Oakham, Stamford, Oundle and Corby. It is surrounded by 14 acres of beautiful countryside and is an integral part of the rural community, with strong links to surrounding villages.
We have a strong sense of community within our home and are confident you’ll find our home ideally situated to meet your needs. I am an experienced manager and have worked in the care sector for many years. I am extremely hard working and very passionate about my job and delivering the best possible care to those we support.
I strive to enhance and improve the lives of residents by delivering person-centered and high quality care. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is meeting and getting to know each resident and their loved ones.
