"In previous years I had been more than happy with the care that my father received. When my elderly mother became more acutely disabled I was very grateful at the speed & flexibility that the team displayed in receiving us in a moment of need. I have always found the various team to be kind & compassionate. I consider Milford House to be an excellent care home."

"Staff from top down cheerful and friendly, food was plentiful and of a good standard. As a visitor having to travel for 1.5 hours and staying for the day the staff were very happy and encouraged me to food for breakfast and lunch. Only negative thoughts were hoovering during lunch time and sometimes time taken to respond to call alarm."

"My 91 year old mother was shaken and nervous leaving hospital after a bad fall and broken leg before Christmas. I visited every residential home in the Salisbury area to find one that I hoped would suit her for further recuperation.. From the initial assessment through moving in to her delightful room the staff have been outstanding, professional, supportive and friendly to my brother and I as well as mum. After 2 months she is walking, eating well and looking brighter and healthier than she has done for many years looking after herself at home. Apart from the gardens you can walk and sit in, we enjoy the lounges and barista style cafe as well as weekend lunch with mum in the dining room overlooking the garden. It feels like a real home with friendly faces that come by regularly for a chat and to see how you are. It's the staff and open friendly attitudes to any feedback that make Milford House exceptional from carers, nurses, catering and cleaning and office staff and management."

I attended a networking meeting here today. Very impressed with the welcoming reception and beautiful building and atmosphere. Very serene location also.

"Milford House is a delightful care home in which my wife has spent 6 weeks in 3 different visits, following a total knee replacement on both knees and recuperating from a broken femur. She was made most welcome and looked after extremely well, helping her recover from the surgery. The staff were anxious to please, helpful and friendly. The food was first class and varied. Milford House is a first class care home, and I would thoroughly recommend it for recuperation and respite care."

As an oral healthcare domiciliary provider we visit many homes in the region. We have always found Milford house superb, not only do they look after us when we visit but all the residents are well cared for and seem extremely happy living here. I have entertained at Milford House for almost a decade and am always welcomed into the friendly, well-run home. The atmosphere is wonderful and the care for the residents if reflected in their obvious contentment

I attended a menopause event held at Milford House Care Home and was very impressed. The room was spacious, but still had that cosy feel. Really friendly atmosphere and great staff. The drinks and brownies were very nice too. Would definitely think about having an event there in the future.

I am a local Menopause Coach, and yesterday evening I hosted, alongside my friend and colleague Marina, a Menopause Workshop open to members of the local community. Marina is a pelvic health specialist physiotherapist. The event was well-advertised and organised by the Sales Manager at the home. The staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Wonderful refreshments were provided, along with a beautifully decorated, comfortable, and private lounge room with plenty of comfortable chairs for our attendees. We really enjoyed using the space for this event and will very likely be back to host future events for the community.

"Very Happy with Milford House, Dad went in for respite care and has decided to stay on. Every member of staff with out exception gives a smile and a hello. From the nursing, care, admin, activities, catering, housekeeping all is first class. It is great to know Dad is happy and well looked after 24/7."

I go and visit the Residents at this care home for work and I wanted to take a moment to say that the workers are wonderful. They are so friendly and caring to all the residents here and always going above and beyond for them. Making sure they always have what they need and putting on activities for the to enjoy. There’s a real duty of care at the establishment I highly recommend this place for your loved ones.

"All the staff here help to make my mum's life more colourful, always friendly and chatty and willing to have a laugh and a joke. Staff of note are Kelly (in the office), Val on reception, Wendy, Gale and Jane. Everyone is helpful in a very busy home."

Visited the home as a community event I was attending was held in the front lounge area, reception staff were very welcoming and friendly, the communal areas I saw were clean & tidy, and the drinks and cake were yummy!

"I find the Care home staff very welcoming, warm and caring, both towards my dad and us as a family. We recognise what a challenging job the staff do, and they carry this out professionally and generously. The staff were amazing when we were trying to ensure dad could make it to my sisters wedding this October. Dad had been very poorly and they shared our determination to do all we could to follow his wishes to be present at the church. It would not have happened without their determination and going the extra mile in the weeks leading up to the big day. We will be forever grateful to them for this."
