Meet the Milford House Care Home Team

Our wonderful team comprises nurses, carers, activities coordinators, chefs, housekeepers and more. These people are here to ensure that residents enjoy their time at the home and are supported to live life to the fullest. Meet some of our staff below:

Agnieszka Musial

General Manager

Hello. My name is Agnieszka Musial and I am the General Manager here at Milford House.

Welcome to our website. My aim is to ensure residents, staff, families and visitors all feel they are in welcome in our caring environment and feel supported by every member of our team.

I have been working in the Health and Social Care Sector for the past 15 years, with my passion lying in dedicated and personalised care for the elderly. This is what I believe makes Milford House different to every other nursing home.  Everyday, my team and I, strive to make a difference in our resident's lives and we are proud of the difference this makes to our residents - and their loved ones.

My door is always open and I look forward to sharing a cup of tea and some of our lovely homemade cake with you!

Louise Butler

Senior Sister

Louise is a very long-standing member of our staff team and will have been at Milford and amazing 25 years next year!  Louise is dedicated to ensuring that she and her team provide the best possible care for the residents that are in their care.

Catriona Murray

Administrator

With 10 years of prior experience in an Administrator role we are delighted that Catriona has joined our office team.  Catriona loves working in the care environment and getting to know residents and their families and supporting them in whatever way she can. She can be found in our front office and is always available to answer any queries.

Jan Shaw

Activities Coordinator

Following a career in retail, Milford is delighted to welcome Jan to the Activities team. Jan was born in Scotland but has lived in Salisbury since she was five, so she definitely counts as a local girl!  Jan loves chatting to people, entertaining and making people feel at home, as well as preparing endless cups of tea – a vital attribute for life at Milford House. Jan is enthusiastic about bringing a varied activities programme to those we support.

Stuart Hiscock

Head of Maintenance

Stuart brings with him  to  Milford House 15 years of experience as a site and facilities manager for a number of household names.  Working with the Maintenance Assistant,  Stuart will be responsible for ensuring that everything at Milford House is maintained to the highest standard and he is our first port of call for any site related issues.

Stuart is committed to the whole home approach and getting to learn about a new environment and is looking forward to getting to know our residents and families and ensuring that our home both inside and out is kept in tip top shape.

Hailing from Winchester amongst Stuart's life experiences is also 5 years spent as pub landlord so he could be particularly useful as an honorary member of the activities team when needed!

Liang Guo

Head Housekeeper

Liang has been at Milford for 14 years and has been a key part of the domestic team prior to being appointed Head Housekeeper.  Liang says that he likes everything about his job and is committed to ensuring that he and the laundry and domestic teams provide an excellent service to our residents.  Since coming from China, Liang and his family have always lived in Salisbur  and when not at Milford Liang enjoys taking them to explore different parts of the UK.

Kelly Miller

Admin Assistant

Kelly has worked at Milford House since 2006 in a variety of roles and is now a full time member of the office team. She is a fountain of knowledge concerning all things Milford and if we don't know where to find something or what to do, she usually has the answers! When not at Milford, Kelly likes to take the odd quick trip to Spain to recharge her batteries, and her favourite Milford job is organising the Christmas party.

Kylie Colman

Activities Coordinator

Kylie has three years experience as an Activities Co-Ordinator and has loved every moment! Having recently joined the Milford team she is looking forward to getting to know all our residents and to delivering, alongside the rest of the team, an interesting and diverse programme of activities.  She loves being outside and in particular organising trips out of the home and activities and events that take place in our gorgeous gardens.

Gary Penfold

Maintenance Assistance

With 11 years of experience in the maintenance field Gary has joined Milford House to support the Maintenance Manager in ensuring that everything in the home runs smoothly and is kept looking nice. Gary was previously at our sister home The Cedars just down the road and so has not moved far to join the team.
